To search throughout literature envidence do support the viability of telehealth as a way of enabling public health services to becoming a universal system. This is a literature review made by searching into the database Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS). Articles from 2010 to 2015 were used. Were also included other relevant articles of previous knowledge of the authors. 58 articles were found and 12 were used, besides six articles included afterwards.
