The word therapy means, treatment of a pathology, and for this purpose reiki arises, as a complementary therapy, within a vast field of several other therapies. The objective of this study was to trace an emotional profile of stress and anxiety among children aged 8 to 13 years, who are members of the NGO in the community of Bode. Outcome of stress resistance and the moderate level of anxiety were the categories that had the highest percentages of children. In view of the above, it is worrying the picture presented in such young people, in this context, reiki would be a great help tool, since this technique provides well-being and harmonization, as well as improving the energetic levels of the patient who is benefiting from this method.
