To report the development of educational activities that promote early diagnosis of leprosy cases in the age group under 15 years

Abstract:
The incidence of leprosy in children may be considered an indicator of the prevalence of the disease in the general population and their detection is important in determining the level of transmission, because if there is a child being infected then there is an adult transmitting the bacillus. To report the development of educational activities that promote early diagno-sis of leprosy cases in the age group under 15 years. We made the test counted for 36 peo-ple. The results obtained confirmed cases 05 and 02 less than 15 years. Cases of leprosy in children under 15 years accounted for 02 (5%) of the total cases detected. The coefficient detection in this age group keeps on hyper endemic level. The actions taken on the mirror was an opportunity in getting to clarify, guide, inform, give support, support, knowledge, and allowed new cases of leprosy were diagnosed in infancy.
