The teaching resources are considered essential to the learning process. Reflecting on the selection and application of teaching resources invariably leads to analyzes about teachers skills in order to overcome the misreading that science is limited to the transmission of scientific knowledge already developed. Proposing analysis criteria and evaluate didactical videos that can be used in teaching natural sciences focusing on the health promotion and improving quality of life.: The methodological approach adopted prioritized qualitative dimension, the methodological approach considered these steps: Collegial definition for the evaluation of the videos, selection of videos on the Internet, analysis of videos and proposing use strategies. The analysis criteria for evaluation of the videos made possible an expanded analysis of audiovisual resources, identifying the possibilities of applying these resources favoring the promotion of health and quality of life. The social function of science education requires for education professionals the ability to find new ways to work in the classroom. Recognizing students as subjects who learn increasingly alone and who need to find the school conditions that allow equipping themselves for the exercise of citizenship.
